WebPteras are good as a early flying mount . Argies are good for resource runs . Griffins are good for taming . Snow owls are good for transport and wyvern egg snatching . Wyverns are good for fighting and transport . But imo wyverns are the most well rounded, the are fast, have a decent amount of weight, f*ck ton of damage and can be obtained ... You could actually compare the wyvern to the argy - less weight, but more speed and way more firepower. Griffin by far for its speed and damage. Snow owl and wyvern are both fine choices as well.
