WebI don't think that fits the timeline, prices went negatively after Saudi Arabia and Russia flooded the market. It wasnt due to crashing oil demand, sure demand was lower and that caused the price war, but I think it's incorrect to say demand caused prices to go so slow that production had to be cut back and that's what the Saudi's did.
